Jan D’Alvise

Managing Partner

Jan D’Alvise is a seasoned life sciences executive, entrepreneur, and board director with more than 30 years of leadership experience across pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics, Health IT, and AI. She is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of HealthPath Strategies, where she advises early-stage healthcare companies on business strategy, fundraising, and commercialization, helping innovators translate technology concepts into fundable, scalable market opportunities.


Jan’s track record includes raising over $550 million in equity, debt, and strategic capital and leading multiple successful exits. As President and CEO of Acasti Pharma (NASDAQ: ACST), she executed a major turnaround, secured $150 million in public financing, and completed the $80 million acquisition of Grace Therapeutics, advancing rare disease programs from IND to Phase 3 readiness in only 18 months. She previously co-founded and built NuGEN Technologies and Metrika Laboratories from concept to commercialization and eventual acquisition by major multinational companies.


Her turnaround achievements include leading Gish Biomedical to profitability within six months and overseeing the $40 million sale of the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center to the Sanford Burnham Prebys Institute. Jan currently serves as an Independent Board Director for Spectral Medical (TSX: EDT) and Global Newborn Solutions and mentors healthcare entrepreneurs through San Diego CONNECT and the Cedars-Sinai Accelerator.


Jan earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with highest honors from Michigan Technological University and completed executive programs at Stanford and the Wharton School. Based in San Diego, she continues to help healthcare innovators accelerate growth and value creation worldwide.
